2.1 Information You Provide

• Full name, email address, and phone number.
• Age and, for players, playing style (role, batting, bowling).
• Passport-size photo and Aadhaar card (for identity verification).
• Payment-related information (processed by third-party providers).

2.2 Automatically Collected

• IP address, browser type, and device information.
• Pages viewed, time on site, and referring URLs.
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6).

03 How We Use Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your YubiSports account.
• Process tournament registrations and auction participation.
• Verify identity and eligibility for tournaments.
• Communicate match updates, announcements, and support responses.
• Improve the platform, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
• Comply with legal obligations.

04 Identity Documents (Aadhaar & Photo)

Photos and Aadhaar documents you upload during registration are used solely for identity verification by the tournament organizer. They are:

• Stored encrypted on our servers.
• Visible only to the organizer of the tournament you're registering for.
• Never displayed publicly on your profile or anywhere else.
• Deleted on request, subject to legal retention requirements.

05 Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data:

• With the tournament organizer you register for (limited to what's necessary).
• With payment processors to complete transactions.
• With service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, email, etc.).
• When required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

06 Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work properly.

We use both session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) and persistent cookies (stored for a set period to remember your preferences).

07 Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:

• HTTPS encryption for all traffic between your browser and our servers.
• Encrypted storage for identity documents.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Identity documents are retained only for the duration of the tournament you registered for, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep it.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
